It’s midnight at Concerto in Alicante, Spain. It’s still considered “the evening.” The clubs don’t open until 3:30am, at the earliest. You’re mingling with the classiest people in town, and a famous deejay is hibernating from seasonal club residencies in Ibiza and playing hours of low frequency electro tunes. This 45 min mix by my local friend Julio (Dj Julez) puts you in the mood (Scroll to 26:50 for a nice change of pace). Tyron gave me his new mix CD but I didn’t want to lose it, so I asked the manager at Concerto to put it in a safe place. I’ll have it up as soon as I can go back to retrieve it… In the meantime, have some sangria and enjoy the south of Spain without losing your baggage or flying halfway across the world.
